Fang builds and operates software companies.
We start companies around problems people are already working around, and run them ourselves. Intriq is relationship memory for the web and iPhone. Invoice Koi is invoicing for the trades, and it works with no signal and no account.
Building solutions grounded by real world problems and solving them through innovation and technology.
To build businesses that can effectively allocate sufficient and right resources.
Money, attention and engineering time go where the problem actually is. Nothing is spent to look busy.
Hiring for alignment in personal interests.
The work should serve what someone already wants for themselves. Alignment outlasts persuasion.
Hiring competent individuals who are willing and motivated to succeed.
Competence is the entry requirement. Motivation is what we hire for after that.
- 01
Start from a problem someone already has
Not a market we would like to be in. A specific job that is currently done badly.
- 02
Ship where the work happens
The phone in a van, the browser at a desk. The product goes to the user rather than the reverse.
- 03
Claim only what the code does
Every claim on a Fang product page is checked against the product before it goes up.
- 04
Keep the team small and aligned
Fewer people, higher trust, faster decisions. Resources follow the same rule as headcount.

Partnerships, distribution, and anything that would make Intriq or Invoice Koi more useful to the people already using them.
wj@fangv.xyzWhat we are building.
Every venture here started as a problem that was being handled with a notebook, a spreadsheet, or nothing at all.
Relationship memory, kept private.
Intriq holds the soft context about people that contact apps and sales CRMs were never designed for: what someone told you, what they care about, what you promised, who they introduced you to. Capture a note in plain English or by voice, and Intriq organises it around the person.
Because the notes are organised around people, the whole network becomes searchable. Ask who you know in fintech, or who you have not spoken to in three months, and the answer quotes the note each name came from. There is no pipeline, no auto-sync, and no team workspace.
- Web & iPhone
- Voice notes
- Smart profiles
- Private by design
Professional invoices from the jobsite, even without signal.
Built for electricians, plumbers, builders and other one- or two-person trades. Invoices are written, PDFs are drawn and totals are worked out on the phone. No screen in the app waits on a server to answer, and nothing needs an account before it works.
A hundred invoices a year are free, with no card and no trial. Estimates, clients, templates and reports are uncapped. Receipt scanning reads the merchant, amount, tax and category; time tracking and the jobs calendar turn into invoice lines.
- Works offline
- No account needed
- Nine templates
- Receipt scanning
We hire rarely, and we hire for alignment.
Fang stays small on purpose. A role opens when a problem is real enough to need a person on it full time, not because the headcount was budgeted.
Competence you can point at
Something you built, shipped and kept running. We would rather read the thing than the résumé.
Interests that line up with the work
Tell us what you want for yourself in the next few years. If the role serves it, the alignment does the managing for us.
Willingness to own the outcome
Small teams have no place to hide a task. The person who takes the problem also takes the result.
Nothing posted right now
Send a note anyway. Tell us which venture you would want to work on and what you would change about it first.
